1.) How many bundles of hair will I need for a full sew-in?
-12-16 inch bundles needs 2 bundles; 18-22 inch bundles needs 3 bundles; 24-30 inch bundles needs 4 bundles or more depending on your personal preference.
2.) What kind of hair products should I use on my Virgin Hair?
-Only use SULFATE-FREE shampoos and conditioners and ALCOHOL-FREE products. There are a few suggested sulfate-free shampoo and conditioners listed on the "Hair Care" page. Also Argan Oil and a leave in conditioner are great products recommended to help keep your virgin hair moisturized.
3.) Am I able to wash my virgin hair extensions? How often should I wash them?
-Yes, you are able to wash your virgin hair extensions. Actually it is strongly recommended that you wash or co-wash your hair extensions at least once a week. Wash in a downward motion, not a circular motion, to avoid tangling. Remember to only use SULFATE-FREE shampoos and conditioners. It's recommended that you allow your hair to air dry.
4.) How do I wash my lace and silk closure?
-Do not apply shampoo or conditioner to the base of your closure. This will cause your closure to unravel. Also please do not allow shampoo or conditioner to build up on the top side of your closure. Be careful not to tug, scratch, or pull the hairs with your fingers or flat irons or styling tools, because this will cause the hairs to come out of the base of your closure resulting in thinning or balding areas.
5.) What is the best way to protect my hair while sleeping?
-It is best to braid, wrap, or twist your hair to prevent tangling. Please do not sleep with your hair wet or loose. Use a silk cap/scarf or satin pillowcase when sleeping, because cotton pillowcases tend to dry your virgin hair extensions out.
6.) How long will my Elite Glory hair last me?
-This hair will last you up to 1 year or longer if properly cared for. It is important that you keep your hair fully hydrated due to the fact that the hair isn't growing directly from your scalp. Please see the Hair Care Tips listed on the "Hair Care" page.
7.) Am I able to color my Elite Glory virgin hair extensions? What color does it come in?
-Yes, this hair can be colored but Elite Glory strongly suggests you use a professional colorist that specializes in coloring virgin hair extensions. It is very important that you restore the moisture in your virgin hair once you color or bleach it because it can dry the hair out or possibly damage it. Virgin hair comes in natural colors of the donors which is usually a dark (1B) to light brown (4).
8.) Is it OK to cut my weft aka track?
-No, you should not cut your weft because this will lead to excessive shedding. Have your stylist fold or overlap your wefts as they are being sewn in, do not cut the wefts as you go along. If you need to cut your weft, seal the ends with fabric glue (ie Fray Check) so that the hair will not shed at the point where you cut it.
9.) What does "sealing my weft" mean?
-Sealing your weft means to apply fabric glue (ie Fray Check) to your wefts to help reduce shedding. Your wefts are machine wefted so there will be very minimal shedding which is normal, however to help reduce this even further, Elite Glory recommends you seal your weft before installing it. Fray Check is a recommended fabric glue that can be purchased at Walmart, any fabric store, or online.
10.) Will my hair wave or curl back up after I straighten it?
-Yes, however keep in mind that the more you straighten the hair the more you will lose the original wavy or curly pattern. Since the hair is not attached to any cuticles it is no longer receiving any nourishment from the roots, so if you excessively straighten it, you will begin to lose the original pattern just like you would with your own hair.
11.) How long does it take to process and ship the orders?
-All orders and payments must be submitted before 10am EST each day to begin processing the same day. If your order and payment is submitted after 10am EST processing will begin the next day.
-Please allow 1-2 days to process your order in addition to your shipping option that you choose.
-There are 2 forms of shipping: Priority and Priority Express.
-Priority shipping takes 2-3 business days for you to receive your order. Priority shipping delivery time is never guaranteed, it could come a day later or a day earlier depending on USPS.
-Priority Express shipping is 1-2 business days.
-You will receive a tracking number via email once your package is mailed.
Please note: Elite Glory uses USPS as their shipping provider. Any and all shipping delays are out of Elite Glory's control.
12.) How far in advance should I place my order?
-It's highly recommended that you place your order at least 2 weeks in advance to allow for any shipping delays or back orders.
13.) I don't know anything about Virgin Hair, how do I know which origin or texture to choose?
-Don't worry, Elite Glory provides detailed information about each origin of Virgin Hair offered. Please check out the "Hair Info" page for a description of all products.
14.) Does Elite Glory offer Wholesale?
-Yes, we do! Please send an email to eliteglory2012@gmail.com with desired hair origins, textures, and lengths and make sure to include in your email that you would like wholesale. Wholesale prices are available for 10 bundles or more. You will receive a response within 48hrs.
15.) Am I allowed to use Elite Glory's pictures on my website if I decide to purchase wholesale and become a distributor of Elite Glory?
-All of our photos are copyrighted, so they cannot be used on any other websites.
